I’m Monica, a wife, mama and ex Corporate Finance Manager turned Virtual Accountant. I help busy service providers with their day-to-day bookkeeping and other accounting needs, so they can focus on the core aspects of their business while feeling confident about making financial decisions.

Hola! I’m Monica and I help busy small business owners with their day-to-day bookkeeping and other accounting needs, so they can focus on the core aspects of their business.
How did I get here? I’m originally from Puerto Rico where I earned a degree in Accounting from UPR. I also earned my CPA certification in PR, and immediately after that, I moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue an opportunity in Management Consulting with Accenture. After 22 years and multiple roles in Consulting, Operations, and Finance with Accenture, I decided it was time to venture on my own to have the satisfaction of working alongside with small business owner, making a tangible impact, and helping them achieve their financial goals.
I am bilingual, a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and as a consultant at heart, I like to coach small business owners on how to optimize the management of their books, build momentum in the growth of their business, and create personalized processes to maintain their success.
Family is very important to me! I’m married to Matthew, and we have two wonderful teenagers. I’m their official Uber driver these days! We also have a very energetic black lab who keeps us all on our toes! As a family we love to travel, volunteer, play board games, laugh, and create memories together.
When not working with clients I enjoy working out in a variety of ways, trying new recipes, and reading. I also enjoy being involved in my community, and I’m currently serving on the PTSA Executive Board of our middle school.
